Marvic Francalanza

Malta

Marvic graduated from UWCAD in Italy in 1996.  She has been an active member of the UWC Malta National Committee for the past 20 years and is the president of the UWC Malta Alumni Association.  An inquisitive, adventurous spirit with a love for travel, Marvic brings with her a wealth of experience within the educational sector.  She is passionate about teaching Mathematics, the natural environment, cats, swimming and Spirit Combat.

Paul Calleja

Malta

Paul is much into preserving and respecting the environment, lover of trees and the great outdoors. An educator by profession, he likes involving himself in sporting or fitness activities and has a keen interest in health. Paul also has a strong passion for food ☺

António Carvalho

Portugal/United Kingdom

António is an alum of the UWC Short Course in Lithuania 1994, and former educator at UWC Atlantic, in Wales. He is currently undertaking a MSc in Sports Management in Lisbon, after spending 15 years working in inner-city London schools. Over the years, he has volunteered with national committees as well as supported the making of several UWC Short Courses worldwide. When he’s not traveling or visiting family, you will find him working/volunteering at sports events or enjoying good food and the outdoors.

Moritz Döbele

South Africa/Germany

Mo, alumni and facilitator of 2 UWC Short Courses, grew up in South Africa and has a passion for any close contact to nature – be it challenging or peaceful, blasting or still and secluded, anything, it’s just to be “out there”. Mo, a clear night owl, is a graduated bartender and interested in critical thinkers,  understanding this crazy thing called life and how individuals he meets experience this journey. He loves team sports, listening to music, caring about people in need and reading a good book.
