Scholarship Availability (UK applicants only)

UK applicants may apply for a bursary (up to 40% of Outward Bound fees) if they can prove that this is essential for them to be able to take part in this short course. However, applicants are encouraged to try and raise as much funds as possible themselves first, and only request a scholarship as a last resort.  Shorlisted applicants will be provided with a fundraising kit upon request.

Scholarship Availability (applicants outside the UK only)

A limited number of partial scholarships is also available to non-UK students. However, applicants are encouraged to try and raise as much funds as possible themselves first, and only request a scholarship as a last resort.  Shorlisted applicants will be provided with a fundraising kit upon request.

Scholarship Availability (for NC referred applicants only)

Applicants who have been referred by a UWC National Committee are to initially request financial support from their NC (if required) or set up an individual fundraising campaign. Shortlisted applicants will be provided with a fundraising kit upon request.

Please note Outward Bound UK has informed us there will be an increase of the course fee by £60 next year, as to ensure they will be able to continue to support applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds in the future. This is something we are unable to control, and a condition we had to agree to in order to be able to postpone the course rather than having to cancel it for all in general.
